I am trying to find my grand-father that I never met and I know he is in Mexico. How can I start to find him? ?

I live in the U.S and all I know is that he can possibly live Morelia, Mexico. I do have his date of birth and the state in Mexico in which he was born. What kind of information do I need to start this?
